Active horn-loaded mid/high unit Part number 1007942 LINEAR 5 MK II 308 LTA is a highly e cient, modular, scalable and economical sound reinforcement tool for large, long and wide rooms as well as open airs. The LINEAR 5 MK II 308 LTA long-throw mid/high unit closes the gap between the classic point source PA and the line array, in the form of a compact, horn-loaded speaker cabinet. The Multicell Transformer (MCT) of the 308 LTA provides enormous throw distances in a compact design. Up to 40 metres and up to 3000 people can be covered in a balanced and powerful way without having to use delay lines. With the fl exible accessories, the systems can be used groundstacked or fl own, as cluster, headstack or headstack cluster. In this way, the system grows with the requirements. Precise sound tuning is possible with the network-controllable, stateof-the-art high-performance DSP with FIR fi ltering. The required HK Audio DSP CONTROL software is available free of charge. Even without software, the 308 LTA can be confi gured extensively and easily using presets that can be selected directly on the loudspeaker. With the DSPOut, active speakers without their own DSP or LINEAR 5 LTS A can be integrated into the system. PowerCon connections with PowerCon Link simplify cabling and save cable material. For example, a fl own headstack cluster can be operated with only one power supply line.
